Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum)

Peace lilies (Spathiphyllum) are a quite common house plant which is known for its stunning white flowers and their acceptance of dark places… some gardeners know them as closet plants for this very reason. When it comes to indoor plants these babies are known as some of the easiest to care for. That does not mean to drop your guard, they still need your love.

🧐 What is a little-known fact about the Peace Lily is the ‘flower’ is a specialised leaf that grows over the flower.

Flowering | When flowering, Peace Lilies produce a beautiful creamy white flower which symbolizes raising the white flag seeking peace.

Large flowering Peace Lily. Peace Lilies can be purchased already flowering, please refer to size you are looking for or contact me to see what is available.

Sunlight | Bright location without direct sunlight will encourage growth. Darked areas will reduce growth as the plant is adapting and surviving (which it will continue)

Care | Trim away any dead or unwanted leaves/stems as low as possible

Water^ | Approximately ½ to ¾ cup (small), 1 ½ cups (medium), 2 to 2 ½ cups (large) per week. Your plant is living, it will show you when it is unhappy and needing water. Wilting is only good for cooking spinach.

How to Water | Refer to Kokedama Care. If you still have questions, please contact Kokedama Collection

 * Images are for display purposes and may not be exact kokedama. We are perfectionists so never be concerned that the images will be a mile away from the real thing and as all are hand-made they will always vary.

^ All plants vary in their needs for watering. They do not follow a rule book. It is the owner’s responsibility to adapt their watering processes and amounts to suit their kokedama. The amounts/periods listed are a guide only. If you are experiencing problems or concerns please
contact Kokedama Collection as the only silly questions are the ones not asked which result in an unhappy kokedama.
